While Apple’s decision to go exclusively with eSIM is currently garnering attention, it’s important to remember that eSIM is not Apple’s proprietary technology. Many Android handsets launched in recent years also support eSIM, including those from Google, Samsung, Oppo, Huawei, etc.

Unfortunately, methods like Apple’s eSIM fast transfer are proprietary, meaning you won’t be able to move your eSIM from Android to iPhone as easily as you can from iPhone to iPhone. Instead, you’ll have to rely on the options offered by your carrier.
