One of the fun things about being an upholsterer is that I can change my furniture fabrics at home whenever I feel in the mood for a change, and dining room chairs happen to be one easiest targets for transformation. Their seat cushions can be upholstered in just about any iteration you can think of. In fact, if you have a set of four, six or eight, you can make them all in different fabrics to complement the color palette and mood of your room – the possibilities are endless!
A dining chair is also a perfect project for a beginner, as tackling a single seat is much easier than redoing, say, an entire sofa or living room chair.
