To clear an app’s cache, go to Settings > Apps, tap the app, tap “Storage” and tap “Clear cache”. To clear your browser’s cache, launch the Samsung Internet app head into settings and clear your browsing data, making sure “Cached images and files” is checked.

Clearing cache on your Samsung phone can help fix various app issues and improve the overall performance of your Galaxy phone. We will show you how to clear Android app and browser cache in this guide.

When you clear your app or browser cache, you don’t lose your preferences, files, or credentials. Your phone only deletes temporary files created by your apps.

Clear Your App Cache on Samsung Phone

Clearing the cache is the best way to fix many issues within your apps. It’s like resetting your app without losing important data.

To clear your app cache, launch Settings on your Samsung Galaxy phone. Then scroll down and select “Apps”.

Select the app whose cache you want to clear.

Select an app.

On the app page, tap “Storage”.

Select "Storage."

In the lower right corner of the “Storage” screen, tap on “Clear cache” to delete the cache files of the selected app.

Select "Empty the cache" in the lower right corner.

And without any prompts, your app cache files will be deleted.

Clear Your Internet Browser Cache on Samsung Phone

To clear your cache in the Samsung Internet browser, launch the Samsung Internet app on your phone.

In the lower right corner of the browser, tap the hamburger menu (three horizontal lines).

Select the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner.

In the opened menu, choose “Settings”.

Select “Personal browsing data”.

Picking out "Personal browsing data."

Choose “Delete browsing data”.

Select "Delete browsing data."

On the “Delete browsing data” page, enable the “Cached images and files” option. Feel free to select other items from the list as well.

Then, at the bottom, tap on “Delete data”.

Enable "Cached images and files" and press "Delete data."

Press “Delete” in the prompt.

Picking out "Wipe off" in the prompt.

And that’s all. Your phone will clear your cached browser content.
