Home and Away star Georgie Parker says distribution has virtual rehearsals amid coronavirus pandemic – as series returns to screens
Home and Away is back on screens Monday.
And one of the stars of the series, Georgie Parker, says that the cast and the team are impatient to get back to work and have had virtual rehearsals.
The 55-year-old actor told Channel Seven: “ We’re just waiting for everything to go well, whatever the form.

“ We managed this very well because the crew is brilliant and the cast sensational.
“The Home and Away production team was really aware of what we were doing. We have adapted as well as a drama, but we are locked out and waiting for the safe return to work. We all want it, ”she said.
Georgie added: “ I talk to Ray (Meagher) a lot and we are all looking forward to it. But we don’t want to do it unless we get the agreement and everything is safe.

Last week, Australian actress Emily Weir, who plays newcomer Mackenzie Booth, announced that the series will return to screens on Easter Monday.
Sharing a video of what appears to be her bedroom, the 29-year-old star said: “ Just a message to say that we’re back on the screens on April 13 ”.
“Summer Bay is back in action,” she added cheerfully, while looking at the camera.
Georgie added: “ I talk to Ray a lot (Meagher, photo) and we are all looking forward to it. But we don’t want to do it unless we get the agreement and everything is safe.

“I hope everyone stays at home, stays positive and stays strong. We can’t wait to be in your living room. ”
This comes after production on the popular show stopped because of fears of COVID-19.
Channel Seven said the health and well-being of the actors and the crew was a priority and that filming would be stopped.
