Hilary Swank has twin babies on the way!
The actress, 48, told the “Hello America” co-hosts Wednesday that she was “so happy” to share news of her pregnancy.
“It’s something I’ve wanted for a long time, and my next thing is I’m going to be a mom,” she said. “And not just one but two.”
The Oscar-winning actress went on to say that she “can’t believe it.”
She next appeared on “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” where she cradled her baby bump in a patterned dress.
“I feel great right now,” she told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, adding that her clothes had “started to fall off.”
Swank has expressed her plans for children over the years.
“I would really like to have kids one day,” the ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ star told People in 2006. “It’s definitely something I’ve always thought about as a very, very young girl. .”
Swank noted at the time that she “loves[s] kids,” adding, “It would be a big thing for me someday when the time is right.
The “Alaska Daily” star was married to Chad Lowe at the time, but she divorced the actor, now 54, the following year.
Swank dated her agent John Campisi from 2007 to 2012 and was briefly engaged to financial adviser Ruben Torres in 2016 before moving on to her husband, Philip Schneider.
Swank and the producer tied the knot in August 2018 after two years of dating.
On their one-year anniversary, the “Million Dollar Baby” star gushed about their nuptials via Instagram.
“It’s been a year!!” she captioned a snap of a smile. “The best of my life…apart from first year…and second year together. Happy one year wedding anniversary, to the love of my life.
