Hilaria and Alec Baldwin have welcomed a baby girl into their family, the couple confirmed on social media on Tuesday.
Hilaria Baldwin shared a photo of their newborn daughter on Instagram with the caption: “We are so in love with our daughter, Lucia. Just like your siblings, you are a dream come true.”
Her actor husband shared the same photo with the caption, “Blessed …”
The 37-year-old hinted at the news on Monday when she shared a photo of herself surrounded by six children, including a newborn baby on her lap. Fans did a double take on the photo as the couple welcomed their son Eduardo in September.
In this article, the mother-of-six did not share more details about the baby, captioning the post with “7” and a heart-shaped emoji. In her Instagram story, she shared the same photo and asked her followers “How many babies do you see?”
Representatives for the couple did not respond to USA TODAY’s requests for comment.
Alec shared the same photo of Hilaria and the six children on Monday with the caption “Mi vida,” which means “My life” in Spanish – which led the “SNL” actor to strike back at a questioning commentator.
“Who is the mother? She was not pregnant. She gave birth six months ago,” the commentator wrote. “If it was a surrogate, just say that. If the baby was adopted, just say that. If the baby was the product of an affair and you decided to raise him with your wife, say so.
“You should shut up the (expletive) and mind your own business,” Alec replied.
Another poster came up in defense of the family, writing: “I would like to know why people are so mean.”
“Because deep down they’re not very smart,” wrote Alec Baldwin. “Americans are people who know less about how to lead peaceful and healthy lives than most in the civilized world.”
Author (“The Living Clearly Method”) and “30 Rock” actor, 62, share children Carmen, 7, Rafael, 5, Leonardo, 4, Romeo, 2, and Eduardo, 6 months. Alec Baldwin also has 25-year-old daughter Ireland with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Hilaria Baldwin, also a yoga instructor, was open about her journey to motherhood.
For the past two years, she has shared the couple’s struggle with miscarriages before welcoming Eduardo last year.
She recently made headlines around her cultural identity after social media users accused her of pretending to be Spanish when she was born in Boston.
In December, videos emerged showing Baldwin speaking with different accents, and tweets claimed her former name was Hillary.
She addressed the controversy on social media and later apologized for not being clearer.
She reiterated that she was brought up with the American and Spanish cultures and that she felt “a real sense of belonging to both”, and added that “the way I spoke about myself and my deep connection with two cultures could have been better explained ”.
“I should have been clearer and I’m sorry,” she continued, captioning a photo of herself with her husband Alec Baldwin and their children. “I am proud of the way I was raised and we are raising our children to share the same love and respect for both. Being vulnerable and pushing ourselves to learn and grow is what we have built our community on, and I hope to return to the supportive and loving environment we have built together. “
Alec Baldwin also defended his wife. “We live in a world now where we are hidden behind the anonymity of social media,” he said, noting that people feel they can say anything.
