Fifth year senior Taevion Kinsey also hit double-digit points with 15 on a 7-for-12 shooting night. The Columbus, Ohio native also grabbed eight rebounds in the contest.
First-year student Micah Handlogten shot down a game-high nine, scored six points and denied three shots in the win.
The Herd dominated the Bears in the first half. United outscored the visitors 47-27 in the first 20 minutes of the game taking 58.8% of their shots (20 from 34). He also went 6 for 15 (40%) from behind the arc in the first half.
The Green and White have made 34 of his 69 shots from the field for a shooting percentage of 49.3.
Marshall won the battle in the paint 42-26 and had 22 second-chance points on 17 UPIKE turnovers.
