The actor who brought the superhero The ant Man to life on the big screen grew up in the Kansas suburb of Lenexa, Kansas, and has been a die-hard Chiefs fan ever since, as well as his alma mater Kansas City Royals and the Kansas Jayhawks.
THE saturday night live alum, former partner of Olivia Wilde and winner of an Emmy for his character in the series Ted Lasso, grew up in Overland Park, Kansas, and attended the same high school as Paul Rudd: Shawnee Mission West. Like Rudd, he is a loyal fan of Kansas City teams.
Singer-songwriter Melissa Etheridge was born and raised in Leavenworth, a suburb of Kansas City, so she remains an avid Chiefs fan.
The now old movie Superman is British, but in 2018 he told Rich Eisen: “I spent a lot of time in America learning to love football. I realized I had to pick a team. I thought to myself, ‘Superman is coming of Kansas.’ I was playing Superman at the time, and it made sense to me.”
The actor also spent his childhood in Overland Park, and in 2020 he continued ESPNon the show “First Take” where he expressed his lifelong love for the Chiefs and what it meant to him that the team had one of the best QBs in a long time in Patrick Mahomes.
brad pitt spent much of his childhood in Springfield, Missouri, and because of those roots, he’s always been a Chiefs fan. In 2013, he recorded a message for a local news station which showed him raising his fist in support of the Chiefs. And in 2020, he appeared at the SAG Awards wearing a black cap with the logo of the Chiefs, who had just won the superbowl.
