The McLaren 765LT comes with 755 horsepower (563 kilowatts) out of the box, will hit 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds, and hit 205 miles per hour (330 kilometers per hour). And the fastest we’ve seen does the quarter mile in 9.37 seconds, totally in stock. So, does this car really need to be faster? Probably not, but Hennessey decided to release a kit that boosts the power of the 765LT to a whopping 1000 HP (745 kW).
Yesterday, the Texas tuner officially announced his insane new tune for the 765LT which increases output to the aforementioned 1,000 horsepower. Now this already ridiculously fast vehicle will hit 60 in just 2.1 seconds and a top speed – we can only assume – somewhere north of 346 km / h.

“The new 765LT is underrated from the factory,” notes John Hennessey. “We tested it on our in-house dyno and it delivered around 765 hp – to the rear wheels. This means that it produces closer to 865 hp in bone form. Upgrading the 765LT to 1000 HP will reduce 0-100 km / h time to just 2.1 seconds, which is just crazy.
The Hennessey Air comes with a list of performance upgrades such as high flow air filters, stainless steel downpipe for even more noise, factory ECU recalibration, and more. Plus, the 765LT gets subtle exterior and interior visual cues so viewers know it’s not in stock; there is a Hennessey emblem on the exterior, as well as HPE1000 badges and a serial numbered instrument panel plate in the cabin.

The cost of all that extra speed? Hennessey is asking $ 24,950 for the kit and installation. This figure is in addition to the price of a new McLaren 765LT, which costs $ 358,000 at the factory. But it’s worth it if you want to have the fastest 765 on the block.
