Heart of Midlothian had a friendly with Spanish side Almeria scrapped after a mass brawl broke out between the players.
The Scottish Premiership side were in Malaga to buy time before their season resumes on December 17.
Hearts had lost 1-0 to the Spanish club when an ‘altercation’ broke out between the two groups of players.
Video footage posted to Twitter shows punches thrown and lots of shoving.
Red cards were then handed out after the chaos led to red cards for Hearts’ Alex Cochrane and Almeria’s Rodrigo Ely.
Hearts boss Robbie Neilson then led his players off the pitch following the incident and the match was subsequently abandoned.
Posting a message on Twitter, the Scottish Premiership club said: Following altercations between the two groups of players, the decision has been taken to abandon the match.
“Robbie Neilson will speak to Hearts TV shortly.”
The club currently sit fifth in the Scottish Premiership but suffered a nightmare during their mid-season trip to Spain.
They lost 4-0 to Championship side Blackburn on Friday and have now seen their game with Almeria abandoned.
