The late actor Bruce Lee’s son, Brandon Lee, had many similarities with his father. Like his father, he was also an actor and martial artist. Besides their similarities in skills and professionalism, there is another uncanny resemblance between the two. Both father and son died very young.
However, what’s interesting about this coincidence is that Brandon Lee predicted his own death a year before he died in an accident. During an interview, Brad Pitt revealed that in a drunken state, Lee expressed his fear of dying young, just like his father Bruce Lee.

During an interview with Esquire, Brad Pitt shared that one time he was partying with Brandon Lee at his house and they were both very drunk. In this “stone” state, Lee confessed that he thought he would meet a tragic death, just like his father. Pitt recalled,
“A real night, you know, drunk and stoned, and he went on that night telling me how he thought he was going to die young like his father.”

Pitt didn’t take this seriously because he knew Lee was very high. But what surprised the Oscar-winning actor was Lee’s death a year after he made this prediction of dying at a young age.
When Lee was 28, he got the lead role in the 1994 film. The crow. While filming a scene in the film, Lee was accidentally shot by a real gun, which was supposed to be a prop gun. The accident ended up taking his life that day, and his prediction that he would meet the same fate as his father came true.
Lee’s father, Bruce Lee, was only 32 years old when he died.

There has not been much evidence of Lee’s death, however, according to Britannica, Lee died due to “swelling of the brain caused by an allergic reaction to headache medicine.» Lee died in Hong Kong, six days before his film’s release Enter the Dragon.
After his death, his films attracted a lot of attention from fans and he quickly became a household name. Bruce Lee’s contribution to the film industry is not only limited to some martial arts films, but he also brought a positive change in the way the film industry views Asians.
