Hayley Williams of Paramore says that when she was 19, she visited Taylor Swift home and was inspired to write a song that Paramore recently recorded.
She said People.com that they were just beginning to find success and that Taylor seemed so together. She was an excellent cook and also very organized, to the point that she had a closet full of gifts ready to send for the people she was grateful for.
Williams said: “I was like, ‘Oh my God, my life is so not together.’ There are still Christmas presents at my house that I haven’t sent to my friends just sitting there on the back of my fence.
This is the moment that served as the inspiration for writing “Running Out Of Time”. The song is taken from Paramore’s new album titled That is why, to be released on Friday, February 10.
Paramore will be on the road supporting Taylor Swift Tour of eras starting next month.
