Hayley Williams makes sure her gigs are safe places. In the middle of a Nov. 7 Paramore show in Toronto, Williams interrupted the performance to break up a fight that had broken out. Some fans documented the break in video serieswhich show how everything happened.
“Stop,” she said at one point. ” Everyone is well ? She then noticed some fans fighting in the crowd. “Oh man, what do you think this is, like, a terror show? We’re not a hardcore band, bro, come on,” she said. “We’re going to dance tonight, we’re going to have fun, or we won’t.” She then called out the people creating the chaos. ” How are you ? How are you ? Do you want us to separate? Brought me here to behave like a teacher. Hold for everyone. »
She went on to tell fans that she hopes she never has to quit the show again. “Are you okay now? Are you okay?” she asked. “Thank you for taking care of yourself and others. Jesus Christ… Where were we?”
In September, Williams, 33, confirmed in an interview with The Guardian that she and longtime bandmate Taylor York, 32, were dating. After a long hiatus – their last album as a band was released in 2017 – the band are gearing up to release their next album, “This Is Why”, in 2023.
