The annual celebration of music is upon us, and we once again have a lot to think about when it comes to our musical tastes.
This year artists like Taylor Swift and Harry Styles have absolutely smashed it.
Following the release of his album Midnights, his record breaking achievement and the announcement of his Eras Tour, Taylor became the most streamed artist in the UK, followed by Drake, Ed Sheeran and Harry Styles.
Globally, Bad Bunny became the most streamed artist for the third consecutive year.
He was followed by Taylor, Drake, The Weeknd and BTS.
When it comes to individual songs, Harry topped the pack in the UK and globally with his song As It Was.
In the UK, Glass Animals’ Heat Waves and Dave’s Starlight came next, followed by Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill, which topped the charts 37 years after its first release.
Overall, As It Was was also followed by Heat Waves, then Stay by The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber, and Bad Bunny’s Me Porto Bonito.
The best albums in the world were: Un Verano Sin Ti by Bad Bunny, Harry’s House by Harry Styles, Sour by Olivia Rodrigo, = by Ed Sheeran and Planet Her by Doja Cat.

It will also include posts from over 40,000 artists like Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Elton John, Dua Lipa and more.
