Harry Kane is now Tottenham’s all-time top scorer with a total of 267 goals.
But despite the sheer number of strikes to choose from, Kane whittled them down to form a top five of his best ‘alternative goals’ for the club he’s been with since he was 11.

Breaking Spurs’ record prompted Kane to pick his top five goals
After loan spells with Leyton Orient and Millwall, Kane made his senior debut at Tottenham in 2012, but took on two further loans at Norwich and Leicester before earning a permanent place.
Since then, the striker has scored in every competition he has participated in for Spurs.
And his winner on Sunday against Manchester City saw him surpass Jimmy Greaves’ long-standing record.
It also took his Premier League goal tally to 200, making him the fastest player to achieve the feat.
Now, the 29-year-old has revealed his five favorite ‘alternative’ goals on his Instagram, picking the best of each type of goal he’s scored over the years.
So which strikes did it?

There are certainly a lot of choices
Most memorable – Sunderland (H) 2014
It’s no surprise that Kane chose the moment he scored on his first Premier League start as his most memorable goal.
Spurs beat Sunderland 5-1 on the day in April 2014, with Kane coming on in the 59th minute to put his side ahead after the Black Cats had initially taken the lead.
Christian Eriksen found the then 20-year-old Englishman with a moving ball and Kane drove it away from close range.
“I worked so hard for a Premier League opportunity, I was so fired up and just wanted to score,” Kane wrote on his top five goals Instagram post. “That feeling was just unreal.”

Best header – Arsenal (H) 2015
Kane revealed the best header of his career came against Spurs’ north London rivals Arsenal in February 2015.
In what was his first North London derby, Kane ended up scoring the winner, having equalized Spurs minutes earlier after Arsenal came on at half-time 1-0.
Timing his jump to perfection, he seemed suspended in mid-air as he towered over Laurent Koscielny, before crashing his head into the far corner.
“Is there a better way to have completed my first North London derby?” Kane wrote on Instagram.

Top members – Arsenal (H) 2016
Whoever produced the best members came the following season, his phenomenal curling effort driving White Hart Lane wild as the striker put Spurs 2-1 up and briefly top of the Premier League.
Kane burst into the box from the left, and instead of crossing it towards those waiting in the box, he went to goal and sent the ball into the Arsenal net.
“What an atmosphere,” Kane wrote, “I’ve never heard anything like it at the WHL.”

‘The one I didn’t mean’ – Everton (A) 2017
All strikers have those goals that were definitely meant to be a cross, but somehow ended up in the back of the net.
And Kane’s effort against Everton in September 2017 was declared his favorite accidental goal.
Although he had runners to his right, Kane looked up and went through him just outside the penalty area on the right side. Instead, he ended up folding in the back of the net.
“I was definitely trying to get through it,” Kane wrote, with a laughing face.

Most underrated – Borussia Dortmund (M) 2017
Spurs faced German side Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League in the first game of the group stages, and Kane was in fine form for the September 2017 game.
After 15 minutes, the striker showed his strength and pushed back Sokratis Papastathopoulos and slid past Nuri Sahin before breaking away from Omer Toprak and finishing his arrival past Roman Bürki at his near post. He scored later in the game to seal a 3-1 victory for Spurs.
“Wait play, drive with the ball and super finish with my left foot,” Kane wrote, before cheekily adding, “One for the purist.”
