Happy Hollywood Thanksgiving! Stars show fans how they celebrate Turkey Day

Hollywood loves to jump on social media on Thanksgiving morning to show their fans how they’re celebrating America’s excuse for one day of the year to overeat like crazy.

Some are busy in the kitchen putting the turkey in the oven or decorating that apple pie just right or showing off their fall decor.

Others take energetic walks to prepare for the big, high-calorie feast or attend a football game with their friends or the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade with Lea Michele.

Here’s a look at what Tinseltown’s A-list – including Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas – are up to this Thursday in the last big holiday before Christmas.

It’s one of the biggest holidays of the year with nearly 300 million Americans eating a turkey dinner with all the trimmings like mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts.

There is also the tradition of watching the famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade from New York.

About 3 million people are expected to attend the 96th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in Manhattan as the weather warms and skies clear

The parade will feature 16 giant figures, 28 floats, 12 marching bands, 700 clowns and several music stars.

Parade performers include Paula Abdul, The Roots, Jimmy Fallon, Jordan Sparks. Broadway singer Lea Michele kicked off the festivities with a performance of Don’t Rain on My Parade from her Broadway Show Funny Girl.

Mariah Carey is set to perform in the grand finale as she performs All I Want for Christmas Is You at Macy’s store in Herald Square.

On social media, a slew of stars were quick to make the annual holiday a photoshoot as they wished their followers good luck.
