Halle Berry took to social media on Wednesday to wish her daughter Nahla Ariela Aubry a happy birthday as she turns 14.

The 55-year-old Oscar-winning actress posted a photo of her and Nahla from behind as they walked on the beach, to accompany a loving caption.

The Cleveland native wrote: “14 years ago I had the good fortune to give birth to an ‘Earth Angel’ and named her Nahla Ariela!” Humbled by your presence and delighted at the same time!

Berry, who shares her daughter with ex Gabriel Aubry, 45, concluded by saying, “Happy birthday, Nahla boo!”

The Moonfall actress received a number of celebratory responses from celebrity pals to the social media post.

Taraji P. Henson said: ’14?!?! ALREADY!!!! I can not. Happy birthday little girl.’

Lena Waithe wrote: “Happy Birthday!!!” while Elise Neal posted four heart emojis.

The Monster’s Ball star is also mother to eight-year-old son Maceo with ex-husband Olivier Martinez, 56.

The battered actress and filmmaker has refrained from posting images of her children’s faces on social media, as she said in a 2019 interview on Today’s show it was for security measures.

“I’ve fought very hard to protect their privacy, and I just want them to have their lives and be theirs,” the Catwoman star said on the show. “I just don’t want to spread them all over the internet. It just doesn’t suit me. They’ll do it soon enough.

“It will be their life when they grow up, and they will choose when it starts.”

The 2018 X-Men star shared a partial image of his son in the middle of a Bora Bora getaway on social media, and said it was “a struggle” to make it.

She told Extra at the time: “I really don’t like showing my kids that much…but I realize…my people are, like, solid for me and me for them and I feel like wanting to include them in. But it’s a fine line because I don’t want to exploit my kids… I want to protect my kids, so I thought, ‘Half face is fine.
