Hailee Steinfeld opened up about her appearance in Taylor Swift’s hit song video Bad blood.
THE edge of seventeen The star said it was the “coolest thing” to appear alongside powerful women such as Selena Gomez, Cindy Crawford and Cara Delevingne in the track’s music video.
Talk to people magazinethe actor-singer said he had no hesitation in accepting an offer she received from the Anti-Hero hitmaker.
“I mean, you get a call from Ms. Swift and you run to the phone,” she said. “It doesn’t matter what is about to be said on the other side. You run to the phone, you pick it up.
“It was the coolest thing to be in his music video with so many incredibly talented and empowering women,” Steinfeld added.
“There were three of me that day too, which was pretty cool. To be a part of Taylor’s world and his vision was an honor, really.
“I’m literally chasing his Eras tour dates trying to figure out when I can make it happen,” Steinfeld told the publication.
Other stars in the song’s music video included Mariska Hargitay, Ellen Pompeo, Martha Hunt, Jessica Alba, Seraya and Karlie Kloss.
Swift also wanted Lena Dunham, Ellie Goulding, Gigi Hadid, Paramore’s Hayley Williams, Lily Aldridge and Zendaya to be part of her roster.
Previously, Steinfeld opened up about his appearance in the song’s music video for Swift’s 1989 fifth studio album in an interview with USA Today.
“Well, Taylor called me when she told me about the video, and she was like, ‘I’m going to send you the treatment and it’ll explain it to you much better, (but) you’re going to be three! ‘ And I was like, ‘This is going to be awesome. I have no idea what this is, but obviously I trust him and it’s going to be amazing,’ Steinfeld said in 2015.
“When I came on set, we had a few different ideas,” the Dickinson star added. “Taylor helped me find it because I was having trouble, and ‘The Trinity’ just seemed to fit and it sounded good. I wish people would call me that everyday because it’s so cool.
