Earlier this year, Swift called out Damon Albarn after the latter suggested in an interview that she doesn’t write her own songs.

“I was such a fan of you until I saw this,” she tweeted in response. “I write all my own songs. Your head is completely wrong and so damaging. You don’t have to like my songs but it’s really fucked up trying to discredit my songwriting,” before joking in a follow-up – post that she wrote the message “all by herself”.

The Gorillaz frontman later apologized, arguing that his lyrics were “reduced to click bait” and that “the last thing I would want to do is discredit your writing”.
