Google Chrome for Android lets you automatically darken websites, but the setting applies system-wide for all websites you browse.
This may not be ideal though, and Google is working on a way to set this parameter per website instead.
In Chrome Canary for Android, a new section in site settings allows you to enable or disable automatic web content darkening:
The setting is associated with a new menu to enable to disable automatic darkening for the site.
Users can add specific sites and then choose to block or allow automatic darkening on those websites.
To enable the feature, you need to activate the “Darken websites” checkbox in Chrome: // flags.
The feature is currently in development and not all elements work yet.
Hopefully Google will bring it to the desktop in the future as well.
