Silver also zoomed Rs 713 to Rs 46,213 per kg against Rs 45,500 per kg in the previous trade.
On Saturday, gold closed at Rs 42,225 for 10 grams.
Gold of purity 999 and 995 in Delhi traded more than Rs 440 to Rs 43,250 for 10 grams and Rs 43,100 for 10 grams, respectively, according to TickerPlant.
“The 24-carat gold in Delhi was supported by the rebound in international gold prices, earning 391 rupees for the day,” said Tapan Patel.
On the international market, gold was trading higher at $ 1,604 per ounce and silver at $ 17 per ounce.
“Gold prices rebounded on Monday, international gold trading above $ 1,600 after falling to $ 1,585 the previous week,” added Patel.
