Channel 4’s Gogglebox returns for an awesome 17th series – but who will be on the popular reality show this time around?
Viewers will be glued to their TVs on Friday night (February 26) as we tune in to watch the nation’s favorite viewers give their commentary on the latest dramas, documentaries, soap operas, movies and more.
There has only been a slight change in the cast for the new season of the series.
Tom Malone JR, who participates with his family, left Gogglebox after six years, but the rest of the Malones will remain in the series.
Channel 4 has confirmed that the rest of the cast is identical to the previous series.
Let’s take a look and see who will appear on Gogglebox in 2021.
Stephen and Daniel
Brighton-based hairdresser Stephen has been around for many years.
He first appeared on Gogglebox with her then-boyfriend Chris, but the couple broke up, which led to Stephen being joined by her husband Daniel, who began appearing in 2019.
The couple are hairdressers and together own a salon called Lustig and Webb.
Stephen also appeared on the show with his mother, Pat, whom he spoke about on several occasions during his years on the show.
Jenny and Lee
The hilarious couple film the show from inside a trailer in Hull.
Best Friends have continued to offer hilarious comments about the shows that dominate our screens since they joined the hit series in 2014.
The besties in the trailer met at a pub where Jenny was the owner and Lee was a regular.
They share a Twitter account that has amassed over 205,000 followers and shows the comedic friends sharing their exploits outside of the set.
Anne and Ken
Anne and Ken are from County Durham and joined the show in the 15th series.
The couple have been married for 50 years and when viewers were first introduced to the pair, and are full of witty one-liners.
On their very first appearance on the show, Ken presented Anne with a bouquet of roses – one for each year they were together. So adorable.

Abbie and Georgia
Friends of County Durham have been on the show since 2018.
They became popular thanks to their many comedic moments on the show, including reacting to John Lewis’s famous 2018 Christmas commercial where they wondered if Your Song was written by Ellie Goulding or Elton John.
Watching the ad, Georgia said, “I know it was Ellie Goulding who sang this, but God knows who it was first.”
When footage of Elton John has been shown in concert over the years, they both expressed uncertainty as to whether they were real or were created for publicity.
The moment became famous among the fans.
Amira and Iqra
Londoners joined the show in Series 10 as schoolgirls with their friend Amani, but Amira and Iqra now appear as a duet, with the cat of course.
The couple have become well known for their contagious laughs, which often sink into bursts of laughter together.
Mary and Marina
Since their arrival in 2016, the pair have quickly become the favorites of the show.
The two are 80 years old and although they live together in a nursing home in Bristol, they are still young at heart.
They have become popular for their sense of humor and outspoken comments about men and relationships.
The duo are often distracted when talking about their love life.
The Michael family
The Michael family live in Brighton and have been regulars on the show since its inception, building a loyal fan base.
Currently, the family of five has three regulars on the show: Father Andrew, Mum Carolyne and Son Louis.
For most of the shoots Louis joins his parents Andrew and Carolyne on the couch and in previous years on the show his sister Alex has also appeared.
Alex’s twin, Catheryne, also made appearances, confusing viewers as the two sometimes swap and place each other.
The Ven family
South Londoners Marcus, Mica, Sachelle and Shuggy have joined Gogglebox in Series 11.
Their outgoing personalities and hilarious comments from Marcus made them very popular on the show.
The Siddiqui family
The beloved Derby family have been regulars on the show for years.
Baasit, Umar, and their father Sid are popular with viewers, while other family members, such as brother Raza and their mother, often make appearances on the show as well.
Baasit has been teaching for ten years and organizing national workshops for KS2 and KS3 students through his company Siddiqui Education.
When away from the set Umar Siddiqui produces electronic music under the name Burk Hold Dear and has released his music and also works in the NHS as a Biomedical Scientist in Microbiology.
Brothers Tremaine, Twaine and Tristan Plummer joined Gogglebox in the eighth series.
The trio film their home in Bristol and are huge sports fans.
Ellie and Izzi
Sisters Ellie and Lizzi are from Leeds and joined the show in 2015, and are referred to as ‘couch potatoes’.
The sisters said they were initially quite worried when they joined the show that viewers wouldn’t be interested in them.
But now they are one of the most popular pairs on the show and amuse viewers with their jokes.
John and Beryl
The couple joined Gogglebox in 2012, although they haven’t revealed much about their private lives on the show.
Beryl did mention, however, that John retired about 12 years ago.
Giles and Mary
The eccentric couple quickly became a hit with viewers for their unique style and interesting liners on TV of the week.
Giles entertains viewers with his comments and interpretations of what the couple watched and often ends each remark by saying Mary’s name.
The couple’s home and sense of style are instantly recognizable, especially Mary’s botanical armchair matching the wallpaper.
Giles is an artist and Mary is best known for being The Viewer’s Resident Agony Aunt and wrote a book on best etiquette practices, How the Queen Can Make You Happy, which was released in 2012.
They met at the age of 21, while Giles was studying art and Mary was working as a model.
The couple were also reported to be close friends of Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his sister Rachel.
Pete and Sophie
Brother and sister Pete and Sophie have become extremely popular with viewers since joining the show in 2018.
Coming from Blackpool, the siblings are becoming favorites with their hilarious take on TV of the week.
Sophie works in retail and shared clips on her Instagram with colleagues cleaning makeup stations before lockdown measures were put in place.
Older brother Pete has a job in insurance, The Radio Times reports.

Dave and Shirley
David and Shirley have been married for over 40 years and have two children together.
They joined the show in 2015 and are filming from their home in Wales.
They have become popular for their comical and light-hearted quarrels. Dave would work in a factory and Shirley would work in retail.

The Malone family
Since joining the show in Series Four, the Malone family has become a fan favorite.
They are known for their straightforward, no-frills remarks, enviable snack choices, and adorable dogs who aren’t shy in front of the camera – or size conscious, with Rottweilers often climbing onto family knees.
Papa Tom Senior works as a truck driver while mum Julie is a receptionist.
Tom Junior recently left the series and will not appear in the new series.

Alison and her husband George, along with her daughter Helena, joined the series in Series 10 in 2017.
The family are commenting on this week’s TV from their living room at home in Salford, Manchester.
