Two decades after starring in the live-action 101 Dalmatians remake in 1996, Glenn Close stunned fans by turning into a naughty fashion designer.

Close, 73, replicated the signature look of the infamous heiress for Bette Midler’s virtual Halloween fundraiser, taking a DIY approach by hanging a wig on the Internet and using a “painted red” wand as a cigarette holder.

Under photos of her homemade Cruella De Vil costume, the Oscar nominee revealed that her furry black coat was part of her wardrobe from her 2017 film, The Wife.

Plus, she picked up a pair of floppy Dalmatian ears from a local Halloween store and joked that some of her makeup substitutions looked ‘weird’ from certain angles.

Instead of a “ really pale base, ” Close attempted to use baby powder, which she said was “ not a huge success ” on Monday night.

“ I also needed some liquid eyeliner … next time, ” she noted, while sounding like a dead ringtone for the Disney villain, who was looking to use the skins of 99 Dalmatian puppies to create a fur coat.

In her social media photos, taken by Seonaid ‘Sho’ Campbell, the star can be seen sporting her character’s half-black, half-white hairstyle and silk scarf.

While posing a storm with her makeshift red cigarette holder, she gave over 405,000 Instagram followers a glimpse of her cropped red gloves.

As she flashed her long black fingernails, Close covered the camera and left her mouth slightly open.

Based on the 1956 novel The Hundred and One Dalmatians, the film is set in the English capital in the 1970s.

Disney’s Cruella will tell the story of a wealthy fashion designer, who develops a penchant for Dalmatian skin and aims to turn 99 Dalmatian puppies into a fur coat.

Last year, Stone revealed that his screenplay was played during Cruella’s younger years – before Close’s portrayal in the 1996 version of 101 Dalmatians.

“It’s pretty trippy. It’s wild, ” she said of her role in the film before adding that she was walking around thinking ‘these are bananas’.

Asked about iconic actress Glenn, she added to Entertainment Tonight, “ I think she’s obviously the GOAT (the greatest ever), but I have also loved the cartoon for a very long time. ”

The reboot is also expected to star Emma Thompson as Baroness and Paul Walter Hauser as Horace, as well as Kirby Howell-Baptiste and Emily Beecham.
