Giovanna Fletcher said her husband Tom maintained his Strictly abs and always had an “inner sexiness”.
The McFly band member, 36, showed off his ripped chest in an Instagram post last year for “a good ol’ spray tan” in preparation for his salsa performance.
The I’m A Celeb winner, also 36, said he’s ‘still in great shape’ and has ‘continued’ working out since appearing on the show with his dance partner Amy Dowden.

“He still has an inner sensuality, he’s just not aware of it. He’s still in really good shape,’ Giovanna told the Mirror.
“It was actually the first time in a long time that Tom literally had a really big appetite. He wasn’t really a big glutton. While all this time he also loved his food, which is amazing.
“When you do a show like Strictly, it highlights how that activity affects your brain. You’ve been training every day, with that adrenaline and all those endorphins flowing.

“So I think it makes it quite difficult when it suddenly stops. So he definitely kept going.
At the time, the singer wrote in his caption, “Okay, I know it’s not very ‘me’ to post a shirtless photo (says the man who was naked on the cover of Attitude magazine).
“But in the name of rediscovering my inner sensuality for tomorrow’s salsa (which has a pool party theme), I’m back to good old spray-tan this week and I’m very happy about it,” he said. he concluded.

This comes as Giovanna revealed that she injured her ankle and will be stepping down from her role in 222: A Ghost Story temporarily.
She replaced Lily Allen in the lead role of Jenny in the West End play, but has told how she will be out next time after injuring her ankle.
Taking to Instagram, Giovanna shared a photo of her leg in a cast along with a photo of her bruised ankle.
Alongside the post, she wrote: “Not quite how I imagined finishing 2021 and starting 2022, but here we go…
“I managed to roll over on my ankle mid-show on Thursday. The big crack I heard and the pain that followed led me to this new prop.
“Needless to say I’m away from @222aghoststory at the moment. To say I’m devastated not to be there is an understatement and at this point I think my heart hurts way more than my ankle.
“I’m resting and doing everything I can to be back on stage with @stephaniebeatriz, @buxtagram and @lostwaxprocess as soon as possible, but in the meantime I’m thrilled audiences can see the wonderful @handyrhi shine in the role from Jenny.
“I feel so lucky to be part of such a supportive company (cast, crew, FOH and production) who did everything they could to help, and I look forward to returning soon!” XX’.
