It is a plot worthy of the television series in which she plays.
Actress Gillian Anderson appears to have rekindled her relationship with The Crown creator Peter Morgan.
The couple, who dated for four years until 2020, were pictured holding hands in central London.
Ms Anderson, 54, looked stylish in a black aviator-style jacket with black trousers and heels, while Morgan, 59, was dressed casually in trainers, brown trousers and a dark hooded jacket .
The pair never lived together when they dated, with Ms Anderson once joking: ‘If we did, that would be the end of it.’

The split was reportedly amicable, with suggestions that their very demanding work schedules played a part in the end of the relationship.
A few weeks after their separation, Morgan was dating filmmaker Jemima Khan, but the couple called it quits in February 2021.
The couple reportedly fell out after Morgan failed to describe Princess Diana’s story with ‘respect or compassion’ as Ms Khan, a friend of the princess, had hoped in The Crown.
Ms Anderson, who played Margaret Thatcher in series four of the Netflix drama, attended the show’s series five premiere at the Theater Royal, Drury Lane last November.

A source at the time said: ‘She and Peter are good friends again and she was there to support him. It is not clear if this extends into a romance, they are a very private couple.
Ms Anderson, who plays uninhibited sex therapist Jean Milburn in another hit Netflix show Sex Education, recently wrote to tell him about their sex life for a book she is working on.
Writing in the Guardian, she said: “I want women across the world, and all of you who inherently identify as women now – queer, straight and bisexual, non-binary, transgender, polyamorous – all of you, old and young , regardless of your religion, and married, single or otherwise, to write to me and tell me what you think of when you think about sex.
