Anything else you’d like to drop this week, Google?
Another month, another beta. While we’re all eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s Pixel event, reading these last-second leaks and daydreaming about what the Pixel Watch might look like on our wrist, Google has seen fit to drop us the upcoming Android beta 13 QPR1. If you’re using a compatible device and signed up for the beta program, QPR1 Beta 2 is now available, giving us a preview of an upcoming Pixel Feature Drop.
Although Google announced the patch on the Android Beta subreddit, we’re still waiting for a list of changes and bug fixes to determine exactly what’s new here. As always, these builds may be unstable, so you may wish to keep this software away from your daily driver. If Google updates their article with a full changelog, we’ll be sure to add it here.
Anyway, if you’re using a supported phone – that’s from the Pixel 4a, for the newer QPR betas – the files are ready to go. You can grab OTA files or factory images from Google right now, or wait for the update to come to your phone soon. Last month’s release was full of changes, and we can’t wait to see what’s new here.
