Gerard Butler was seen cruising the coastal enclave of Malibu on Saturday, driving his luxury motorbike five years after surviving a “catastrophic” accident.
The freak accident happened in 2017 and nearly left the 53-year-old action star paralyzed.
Butler sued the women who allegedly crashed him and he recently offered to settle the lawsuit, which he filed in 2019, for $5.25 million.

The 300 star appeared to be enjoying himself over the weekend as he rode with a team of bikers and stopped at a gas station for refreshments.
Butler certainly looked the part in a leather biker jacket, tan jeans, brown lace-up boots and black gloves.

Gerard’s locks of brown hair were tousled and wet with sweat while his chiseled face sported winter skin.

According to legal documents, the Angel Has Fallen star claims he was thrown from his motorbike in October 2017 after the other driver “negligently pulled his vehicle off the curb”.
He alleges she then “cut off traffic lanes directly in front of him” in his Mercedes Benz.
The move apparently didn’t give Butler time to hit the brakes, so he ended up crashing into the woman’s driver’s side, which knocked him off his Triumph motorcycle.
Gerard claims he suffered ‘catastrophic injuries’ from going off the road and lost millions of dollars during ‘the busiest time’ of his career.
Plaintiff filed: According to legal documents, the Angel Has Fallen star claimed he was thrown from his motorbike in October 2017 after the other driver “negligently drove his vehicle off the curb”.
“It made me really appreciate how precious life is,” Butler told Entertainment Tonight after the crash, “because I could have landed in any number of ways that would have gotten me out.”
The main man, soon to be seen in his latest action movie Plane, described “flying through the air” and then crashing to the ground.
“I have five fractures in my right foot alone,” Gerard told ET. “A bunch of stupid stuff, a torn meniscus, but it’ll be fine.”
In the settlement offer, which was obtained by The Blast, Butler reportedly offered to drop the lawsuit in exchange for $5.25 million.
“I’m lucky to be here,” the star said during an appearance on The Talk in 2017. “I’ve been 33 feet in the air.”
The defendant would have a few weeks to decide if she would accept Butler’s offer, but if she refuses, the Machine Gun Preacher star will go to court next month and seek a trial.
