George Clooney arrived at Sydney Airport with his family on Friday evening, ahead of filming for his new movie starring Julia Roberts in Queensland.

The 60-year-old was leaving the private side exit of the airport run by one of his children, whom he shares with his wife Amal.

George and Amal are the proud parents of four-year-old twins – daughter Ella and son Alexander – whom they welcomed after getting married in 2014.

It was safety first for the actor who wore his face mask as he exited the building.

He looked suave in a black jacket, chinos with sunglasses on his head, and carried a white Moncler suit bag and a large backpack over his shoulder.

The seasoned actor was greeted by a number of ADF and airport staff with umbrellas in hand who directed him to their waiting cars.

As the Clooney’s settled into one of the SUVs, staff were busy loading the other two large waiting vehicles with their luggage and their entourage.

They were then taken to their quarantine location and given a police road patrol escort.

George is in Australia prior to filming his romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise alongside Julia Roberts.

Filming is scheduled for two months starting in mid-November, with filming on the Gold Coast and Brisbane.

Oscar winner Julia, 53, is expected to be joined in Australia with her cinematographer husband Danny Moder and their three children, twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 16, and Henry, 13.

The project received a grant of $ 6.4 million from the federal locate incentive program.

George and Julia will play a divorced couple who travel to Bali in a desperate attempt to prevent their daughter, played by Kaitlyn Dever, from marrying.

The film will be shot entirely in Queensland, with the picturesque Whitsundays doubling for Bali.

Other filming locations include the Gold Coast and Brisbane, and the production is expected to generate $ 47 million for the Australian economy and create more than 270 jobs.

George will move to Australia for the two-month project with lawyer Amal and the couple’s five-year-old twins.

They will complete two weeks of mandatory quarantine at hotels before filming begins in November, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

The feature has a release date of October 21, 2022, according to Deadline.

Julia and George are longtime friends and this will be their fourth appearance together on the big screen, with previous film projects like Ocean’s Eleven and Money Monster.
