Genesis arrives at the 2024 New York Auto Show with some good news. We mean this figuratively of course, with a touch of pun, as there is a new performance sub-brand from the South Korean company called Magma. And from what we see of this very orange G80, we’d say good things are coming.
If you live Already seen Right now, it’s because we saw the same shade of orange almost a year ago. Genesis arrived in New York with a GV80 Coupe concept, then followed it up in 2023 with the G80 you see above. Called the G80 Magma Special, it is already in production in limited numbers, but only for customers in the Middle East.
The GV60 Magma concept is new on the scene, revealed today ahead of the 2024 New York Auto Show and also earmarked for production. It won’t be limited to any region, although at the moment Genesis doesn’t have much information on production. We also don’t have details on the electric crossover’s performance upgrades, but we know it will.
This is a revolutionary story. More information to come.
