Jhe general managers of every NBA franchise have answered some of the biggest questions as the new season approaches, and there are a few surprises.
These questions range from which franchise will win the championship, who will be named MVP and who will end up with the best record.
As for who will win the NBA championship, there is a surprise pick. The Golden State Warriors, winners last season, are not the favorites according to general managers.
Instead, it’s the Milwaukee dollars, which won 43% of the vote. In second place are the Warriors, and in third place is another surprise: the Los Angeles Clippers.
It’s the first time in 21 years that the poll has been conducted that the Bucks are the favorites.
But they are not the clear favourites, as it is only the third time in the past 13 years that the top team has not won more than 50% of the vote.
Individual predictions
When it comes to individual rewards, there are also some big talking points.
When it comes to MVP, Luka Doncic won 48% of the vote, followed by Giannis Antetokounmpo at 34%, Joel Embid with 14% and Stephen Curry with four percent.
The absences of LeBron James and Nikola Jokic stand out first.
On the other hand, the best NBA quintet is formed by these players: Stephen Curry as a leader, Devin Booker as a shooting guard, Kevin Durant at the small front, Antetokounmpo at ‘4’ and Nikola Jokic In the center.
Finally, the Cleveland Cavaliers were the franchise with the best offseason thanks to the trade of Donovan Mitchellwhich was chosen as the best shot of the summer.
As for recruits, Paolo Bancherowith 79%, is the clear favorite to be named the best rookie of the 2022-23 season.
