Davis joined Cameron Bailey of TIFF for a conversation before the film to talk about the making of the film and all of his memories of filming.
“The interesting thing for me was, I have about the same number of girls and young women who recognize me in this film and say to me:” I play sports because of this film “, as I did almost 30 years ago, “Davis revealed.

Asked about his fondest memories of filming, Davis remembers filming in a small town in Indiana, with locals who came to watch the filming.
“Tom Hanks was hosting puppet shows,” she said, adding, “Rosie O’Donnell would encourage people to cheer.”
