Samsung’s official forum moderator has confirmed that the One UI 6.0 development team is trying to release the One UI 6.0 beta update for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 before the end of this month. This information lines up with a previous report that the One UI 6.0 beta update based on Android 14 will be released this week on the latest foldable phones.
It is likely that Samsung will release the update in China, Germany, India, Poland, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Once the One UI 6.0 beta program is announced for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5, users in these countries can register their devices to test the beta software by installing the Samsung Members app, logging in to the app using their Samsung. account, then clicking the One UI 6.0 beta program banner on the app’s home screen.
After registering their Galaxy Z Flip 5 or Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the beta program, users can check for the new update by going to Settings » Software update and typing Download and install.
