Gabrielle Union looked like a breath of fresh air as she stepped out solo in New York’s Soho neighborhood on Thursday.
The Bring It On star, 50, wore a loose-fitting turquoise blue silk dress with long sleeves that featured an asymmetrical hemline with lace at the hem and a scarf of the same color around her neck.
She paired the colorful dress with a pair of white patent leather closed-toe pointy heels with an ankle strap. The mother of one wore her hair up elegantly over her face in a high bun.

She completed her look with a crisp white trench coat with black buttons and eyelets on the waistband.
The Bad Boys II star wore silver hoop earrings to accessorize her spring style.
The actress has been promoting her drama series Truth Be Told, which details ‘Bay Area youth sexual abuse’ and also stars Octavia Spencer and is produced by Reese Witherspoon.
During an appearance on CBS, the Deliver Us from Eva star recalled how the series forced her to come to terms with the trauma of the assault and rape at gunpoint she suffered at the adolescence.

“At 19 I was sexually abused, I was raped at gunpoint at my job and I was very clear about everything that happened, but throughout the filming of this show, I realized the depth of dissociation,” she said.
Octavia has been on the show since the beginning, while Gabrielle is new in its third season.
Gabrielle also wore a bright, fresh look to the new season premiere of Truth Be Told on Jan. 20, donning an elegant strapless lime green, pink and black sequined floor-length dress that shimmered under the lights.

Gabrielle arrived at the premiere with husband Dwyane Wade, 41, a former NBA player.
Dwyane and Gabrielle, who are parents to daughter Kaavia, 4, looked lovingly into each other’s eyes as photographers captured images of the gorgeous couple.
After the premiere, the couple, who have been married for almost 9 years, went to Craig’s celebrity hotspot in West Hollywood for dinner.
