Over the years, Taylor Swift has faced major issues for her hit song “Shake It Off,” which was released in 2014 and became a chart-topping hit.
Swift faced a lawsuit for copyright infringement and was accused by songwriters Sean Hall and Nathan Butler of stealing the lyrics to a 3LW song that contained lines like “The playas gon’ play” and “Them haters gonna hate”. had lines “Because the players gon’ play, play, play, play, play / And the haters gon’ hate, hate, hate, hate, hate.”
The first case was filed in 2017 but was dismissed in 2018. Last year the case was revived and now the case has been settled.
