In just his fourth professional fight, Garry has shown he doesn’t rush things. He is patient and is ready to let the fight unfold either on the canvas or on the feet.
Garry used his grappling and excellent play to land damaging shots on McManus in the first round before supporting him in a corner at the end of the second. Garry dealt the damage until he landed a powerful header that forced the referee to step in and put McManus on his feet.
The precision, power, and pressure showed why people were so excited about Garry.

Even though most of his wins stem from his excellent strike, Garry showed he has plenty of submission skills under his belt when he defeated Mateusz Figlak by a naked starter from the back in the first round. Garry also showed he can fight in the face of adversity when he took a big hit early in the fight before quickly recovering and relying on his grappling to take the fight where he thought he had the advantage. .
It was a solid performance for Garry and a sure sign of things to come.
