Each of the previous 11 meetings between Bayern and Man United took place in this competition. And the Bundesliga side have never lost at home to the Red Devils before.
Man United have only lost more UEFA Champions League matches against Barcelona with five defeats than against Bayern München with four.

The England captain has a ton of experience against Man United and it should suit him to score against them again this week in the UCL for the first time.
