Three is a crowd? Frankie Grande revealed some prophetic advice he received from Madonna about his polyamory journey in a new interview on Wednesday (September 21).
Speaking to Tamron Hall about his former relationship with throuple, the YouTube personality detailed what made him open to the idea of polyamory in the first place. “I’ve always been the person who says yes to everything that happens in my life,” he said. “And I’ve never been afraid to take risks or…to do anything unconventional. It has always been my mark. So when this relationship came to me, I was like, ‘You know what, why not? Let’s try. Let’s enter.’ And you know, it didn’t work.
As it turns out, Her Madgesty apparently could have told Grande this fact long before he went through his breakup with the married couple. “I remember, I was talking to Madonna, about all the people…I was talking to the Queen…I told her about the band, and she was literally like, ‘Well, it’s not going to end well.’ “
While the Celebrity Big Brother UK alum learned he “wanted a monogamous relationship” from the experience (he married Hale Leon last May in a star wars-themed wedding), nowadays he learns a lot of marriage advice from his sister Ariana Grande’s relationship with her husband Dalton Gomez, whom the pop star married in 2021.
“She gives me all the advice, you know what I’m saying?” Great said. “Like, she’s my sister and she’s my best friend. So we talk about everything. So it’s really nice to have that common thread, like she got married a year before my wedding. Just in being so close and watching her in love, you know, we learn from each other, we learn from each other’s experiences.
