He said Pompeo would provide commentary on Fox News and Fox Business Network for daytime and prime-time shows. His first appearance on the air as a contributor will be on Friday on “Fox & Friends”.
The post could benefit Pompeo by connecting the former cabinet member in the Trump administration to the Fox audience. Pompeo is considered by many to be a potential presidential candidate in 2024.
“As a former diplomat and congressman, and in this new role at FOX News Media, I intend to give viewers a frank, unadorned look at the geopolitics, international relations and politics of America First who have helped chart the course for American prosperity and security, ”Pompeo said in the statement.
