Coronation Street actress Nicola Thorp has announced her engagement to fiancé Nikesh Patel.
Nicola, 34, who played Nicola Rubinstein in the Corrie until 2018 and again briefly in 2019, took to Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of herself showing off her ring as she got close to Nikesh, 38 years old.
She could be seen wearing a red dress as she stood in a room full of balloons while raising her finger to show off her gold ring which featured a teardrop-shaped green emerald stone and sparkling diamonds.

The pair posed jokingly with their mouths wide open in shock, with Nikesh looking dapper in a white shirt and black bow tie.
In another image, Nicola could be seen smiling as she placed her hands on her partner’s chest and leaned towards him.
Nikesh is known for appearing in a number of TV shows including Indian Summers, Starstruck and the miniseries Four Weddings and a Funeral.

Nicola didn’t caption her photo but she was inundated with congratulatory messages in the comments section.

Nikesh called the brunette beauty his “favorite human otter” and a “megababe” in his own snap, which saw the pair beaming from ear to ear while enjoying a trip to the beach.
Nicola broke up with her Corrie co-star boyfriend Charlie de Melo two years ago after a relationship that lasted 10 months.
