The 2021 Detroit Auto Show has been canceled. In its place is a brand new six-day outdoor car festival called Motor Bella and we now know Ford’s highlight at this event which will take place in a few days.
In an announcement posted on the official North American International Auto Show website, Blue Oval is reportedly unveiling the new Ford Expedition during Motor Bella press days. The announcement also confirmed the arrival of new Expedition versions which are “designed to broaden the appeal of the full-size SUV to customers.”
That said, we expect the Expedition ST and Expedition Timberline trims to arrive at the new auto festival. We’ve seen both Expedition models several times in prototype testing, with some even revealing some design details ahead of time such as redesigned headlights and other styling changes to give the full-size SUV a refreshed look for the market. American SUV hungry.
The expedition’s luxurious counterpart, the Lincoln Navigator 2022, will also be showcased at the booth for its public debut, along with the Aviator Shinola Concept – both of which made their official debuts last month.
According to the NAIAS website, Stellantis, GM and Toyota will be showcasing their own booths at Motor Bella. The 2022 Toyota Tundra, which will debut tonight, is expected to be on display by the Japanese automaker in its stands.
The 2021 Motor Bella will take place at the M1 Concourse in Pontiac, Michigan. There will be 350 vehicles from 35 brands that will grace the six-day event, which will feature interactive displays on the KeyBank track, a 120,000 square foot off-road area and road tests.
If you are interested, the event will run from September 21 to 26, with the first two days being reserved for Press and Industry Days. The public can visit the event from September 23 to 26.
But as always, we’ll cover the event for you, so be sure to keep us in your tabs for any recent auto show updates.
