Singers Rihanna, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift are on Forbes’ list of the 100 most powerful women in the world for 2021.

On Tuesday, December 7, Forbes released its annual list and a total of 15 Women in Media and Entertainment were honored.

Rihanna, who was recently named the national heroine of the newly founded Republic of Barbados, came in at number 68 on the list.

Forbes also revealed that the “Diamonds” singer is now a billionaire, thanks to the success of her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line.

Co-owned by French luxury retailer LVMH, the beauty brand grossed over $ 550million (around £ 415million) in revenue in 2020.

“Single Ladies” singer Beyoncé was number 76 on the Forbes list. The business magazine awarded the former Destiny’s Child singer a total of $ 250million (around £ 189million) during her On the race II stadium tour with billionaire husband Jay Z.

The multi-hyphen also announced a global partnership agreement between its sportswear brand Ivy Park and Adidas in 2019.

She teased the first look of their fifth collaborative collection Ivy rooms on Instagram last week.

The campaign features famous children, including Reese Witherspoon’s son Deacon Phillipe and daughter Ava Phillipe and the late Kobe Bryant’s daughter Natalia.

Landing at No.78, Swift has broken several music records this year.

Her 2020 album Folklore became the first album of the pandemic year to sell for one million units.

The compilation of the music reissued by the singer Red (Taylor version) became the singer’s 10th album to reach No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Plus, her 10-minute song from the overhaul Red, “All Too Well” became the longest song to ever reach No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Meanwhile, Oprah Winfrey’s estimated total net worth of $ 2.6 billion (roughly £ 1.7 billion) catapulted her to 23rd place on the Forbes list, as the philanthropist, host of talk show and media mogul was crowned the most powerful woman in media and entertainment this year. .

Actress Reese Witherspoon was at No.74, after acquiring her female-run content company Hello Sunshine in August this year for an estimated value of $ 900million (£ 679million).

The top spot went to author, philanthropist and former wife of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, MacKenzie Scott, with an estimated net worth of $ 59.2 billion (around £ 44.6 billion) and a 25% stake in e-commerce giant.
