When someone steals your car, the most natural reaction is to call the police and tell them about the crime. But when a 14 year old boy steals your Lamborghini Urus, apparently you can just chase him away with a scooter and notify the police after that.
It’s a true story and it happened just days ago in Miami Beach when Chris Sander was home and heard the roar of his V8-powered luxury SUV. His Urus is estimated to be worth around $ 200,000 and his quick reaction was enough to save him from being robbed or damaged.
“It’s just a direct commotion. Police go everywhere, “Sander told WSVN.” I’m home. I hear this thing start. I look out the window and see someone pulling her away. I got on the scooter, chased the guy.
Police later identified Andre Kalinine as the boy who stole the Lamborghini. Sander saw his car parked on a sidewalk a few blocks away and that’s where it got really weird. Kalinin was afraid of what he was doing and even asked the Lambo owner for honest advice.
He said, ‘I stole a Lamborghini earlier. I don’t have a license. I can’t drive, ”Sander continued. “I didn’t know if he had a gun. I didn’t know how crazy he was. I tried to talk and calm him down. He asked me for advice. He said to me: ‘I’m 14, I don’t know what to do.’ You better surrender. They are going to be much, much easier for you.
Sander’s calm can be admired, especially since a policeman is said to have been across the street with a gun pointed at Lambo’s owner and the 14-year-old boy. Kalinin appeared in court the next day and his next court is scheduled for June 18. Unfortunately for him, according to various sources, this is not his first crime in the neighborhood.
