SPRINGFIELD — Enjoy an iconic songbook from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, “Still Standing, an Elton John Tribute,” performing live at the Mars Theater on June 3 at 7 p.m.
“Still Standing” is a Florida-based performance band, playing venues across the Southeast, Southwest, Mid-Atlantic, and Mid-West. As its namesake suggests, the show continues the legacy and amazing music of the iconic Sir Elton John.
Close your eyes and you’ll swear you’re listening to John himself, because the incredible Ben Frey looks and sounds like the legend. Expect all the huge hits including “Candle in the Wind”, “Rocket Man”, “Bennie & the Jets”, “Tiny Dancer”, “Your Song”, “Circle of Life”, “Crocodile Rock” and many others.
Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Ben “Almost Elton” Frey has been named the closest representation of Elton’s look and voice on the tribute circuit. He and his group of professionals are dedicated to working on every detail that delivers an amazing Elton John experience.
