This year, Father’s Day is celebrated on Sunday June 20. We often do something more to make it special for our daddy, from playing his favorite song to giving him some lip-smacking flavors. To help make this day one to remember, we’ve put together a list of songs you can play for your dad and enjoy the moment with him.

This song from the star of Aamir Khan Akele Hum Akele Tum was sung by father-son duo Udit Narayan and Aditya Narayan. The musical composition was made by Anu Malik. It portrays the beautiful bond between a single father and his young son.
‘Tujhse Naraaz Nahi Zindagi’
This song is from the movie Masoom. The film revolves around an illegitimate child, who faces the difficulty of being accepted by his father’s wife. It was composed by RD Burman. Anup Ghoshal gave his voice and the lyrics were written by Gulzar. This track captures the father-son bond beyond all forms of love.
The track depicts the relationship between a tough father and his children, childhood trials that most of us can relate to. The number was sung by Sarwar Khan and Sartaz Khan Barna. Pritam did the musical composition.
‘Papa Kehte Hain Bada Naam Karega’
This is one of the most popular and outspoken father-son Bollywood songs of all time. This song is touching for all the dads and their sons who miss each other a lot. This song gave singer Udit Narayan a Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Vocalist in 1988.
This song channels every father’s pain when it’s time for his daughter vidai (farewell of the daughter after the wedding). It perfectly sums up a father-daughter relationship, where the daughter’s first steps cross the threshold to become a member of another house. Featured in award-winning film Raazi, it was sung by Harshdeep Kaur, Vibha Saraf and Shankar Mahadevan.

Singer Camila Cabello made headlines and made everyone cry at the 2020 Grammys after performing this song to her dad. He was sitting in the front row watching her play. Since then, this song has become a modern favorite for dads and daughters around the world.
Inspired by the birth of his daughter, Jay-Z had let go ‘Glory’ as a single in 2016. Jay-Z becomes, perhaps, as vulnerable as he ever was (mentioning a previous miscarriage) in the song. With the rapper, the backing vocals are by Pharrell Williams.
This song was sung by American singer Beyoncé for her sixth album Lemonade, released in 2016. This track is proof that Queen Bey can nail any genre on the list. This song focuses on telling your dad that you have listened to his advice for all these years.
