Jennifer Lawrence looks amazing as Sue Storma.k.a the invisible woman, in this stunning Fantastic Four image.
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is gearing up to bring the Fantastic Four to the public in the near future. The quartet of heroes will make their big-screen debut in their third self-titled solo pic in November 2024, but with this outing, they’re right at home in the MCU.
An announcement made during Disney Investor Day 2020 confirmed that a The Fantastic Four The film is in development at Marvel Studios. The director of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming trilogy, Jon Watts, was supposed to direct but he later quit, it was later confirmed that Wanda Vision‘s Matt Shakman would direct. After nearly two years of mystery surrounding its release date, it was confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 in July that the film will be released on November 8, 2024 (instead of the once teased 2023 release window).
While production on the The Fantastic Four With the movie still a long way off, fans are excited to see Marvel’s First Family make their MCU debut over the next two years. As for who will be playing the characters, they were hoping an announcement would come at D23, but it wasn’t to be. However, they also have their ideal fan casts to talk to while they wait.
One name that has been closely associated with the role of Sue Storm aka the Invisible Woman for the past few years is that of Jennifer Lawrence. And after seeing this stunning image of her, it’s easy to see why she’s such a favorite too.

Could the stunning image ever come true?
Does Jennifer Lawrence play Sue Storm in the MCU?
Jennifer Lawrence’s name popped up in Sue Storm’s conversations almost two years ago after reports claiming she was preparing to shoot the film in Australia surfaced online. These reports and rumors were quickly debunked, but left fans wondering what Lawrence might look like in the role – and if it could happen in the future. Of course, if this fanart is anything, she would make a great invisible woman.
Another star closely associated with Sue Storm is Emily Blunt – who fans have been asking Marvel Studios to cast in the role for some time now (along with her real-life husband John Krasinski as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic – the latter of which has become a reality in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness).
Recent rumors suggest that Marvel is interested in potentially casting characters like super girl‘s Melissa Benoist, Natalia Dyer or Jodie Comer in the film. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen. With D23 not revealing any casting information, it might be a while before any announcements are made.
