Michele’s joke may have cost her the loss of her position as ambassador for Rihanna’s Savage Fenty line. Rihanna has publicly suffered her own incident of domestic violence.
Draya Michele comments on Megan Thee Stallion and Tory Lanez; The stallion responds
As the world waited for Stallion to confirm what led to the filming, speculation turned mad. Michele opened up about Stallion and Lanez’s reported relationship during an interview, comparing their romance to another Hollywood couple known for their wild moments.
“I predict they had some kind of love from Bobby and Whitney that pushed them down this type of road. I am here for this. I like this. I want you to love me so much that you shoot me in the foot too, ”Michele joked.

The reaction against Michele was swift and she offered an apology and explanation on her Twitter account almost immediately.
“I really don’t glorify domestic violence… I was trying to say just love me deeply. But in trying to be funny, I offended a lot of them, including Meg. And I’m sorry, ”she wrote.
Michele’s apology came too late as Stallion is offended by his joke.
“Dumb b *** h that s ** t is not fucking funny who tf joke about being shot by an *** a,” Stallion asked on Twitter.

Comments from social media users on Michele have not stopped. She posted a longer post on her Instagram Story captured by The Neighborhood Talk after Stallion’s note.
Michele was an ambassador for Rihanna’s lingerie line, Savage Fenty, and promoted the brand on social media. Fenty responded to Michele’s comments.

Reports are circulating that Michele no longer works as an ambassador. Rihanna has publicly addressed domestic violence in her previous relationship with Chris Brown.
“Draya being cut off from Savage x Fenty makes sense how her ‘joke’ not only mocks Meg’s experience, but mocks [sic] the experiences of other women too. Like Rihanna’s. Who owns the brand ”, commented one of them. Twitter.

Interestingly, Stallion is also an ambassador for Fenty. Michele and Stallion shared photos together on their social media pages.
Fenty posted a photo of the stallion moments after it was reported that Michele had been abandoned. Fans don’t care about the timing.
“Draya lost his Fenty approval and they posted Meg less than 24 hours later. I know she’s sick, ”one wrote on Twitter.
Michele has not confirmed whether she is no longer working with Fenty.
