Reactions are mixed, to say the least.
fans of Beyonce got a sweet new surprise this week when Madame Tussauds Berlin unveiled its new wax figure, but reactions to the news were a bit more mixed than you might think.
The People’s Museum revealed the news on Instagram on Friday, January 27, with a photo montage of the latest addition to the singer’s viral song “CUFF IT.”
According to a Twitter user, the outfit of choice for the new model was based on the opening night of her On The Run II tour in Berlin. The figure wears an intricately detailed long sleeve black and white mini dress with beaded detailing and a pair of matching thigh high boots over a pair of nude fishnets.
Her wavy hair is swept up in a high ponytail and she strikes a fierce pose, but some felt her appearance was a little off, although not everyone can put their finger on the issue, exactly.

Just before the start of the winter holidays, Queen B arrives at Madame Tussauds Berlin! 🎊
Berlin loves you! Do you like Beyoncé? ❤️
Book your tickets online now and see Bey!” the museum’s caption read, according to Instagram’s translation feature.
Some fans thought they’d nailed the megastar’s likeness, with Instagrammers commenting on things like “Now it’s BEYONCÉ 🔥🔥🔥”, “Yeah finally you did it right” and “please replace the one from orlando with a oneeeee update 🥹🥹🫶🏾but THIS IS MAGNIFICENT.”

But Twitter had different opinions, suggesting they never understood the “Halo” singer.
“Wtf do Madame Tussaud’s crew smoke every time they do Beyoncé’s wax figure?” a Twitter user wanted to know.
Some users accused the creators of whitewashing the singer each time they debuted a new iteration, and never did well.
“I mean, it’s really not Beyoncé, but compared to all the other wax figures of her, this one ate a little idk”, an admitted.
“idk I feel like they melt a bit before display because they are still close but not close enough,” another answer readfollowed by a more positive analysis“This one’s pretty good. A lot of those wax figures are a mile away, but this one’s pretty close.”
“Yeah, this one looks really good. I understand the struggle, it’s hard to recreate perfection,” another defended.
The back and forth left some undecided even more confused, with one writing, “it’s me but THIS doesn’t look like beyoncé but all comments are good so..?”
Fans just couldn’t get along, with we go so far as to advise“Stop making wax figures of Beyoncé. Period.”
