See below for a value game breakdown for tonight’s list of games on Fan Duel from FantasyPros.
Donte DiVincenzo (MIL) $ 5,500 against CHA:
It is not known whether Giannis Antetokounmpo will miss his fourth straight game with knee disease on Friday. If I were to bet, Antetokounmpo will sit at least one more game, paving the way for someone like Donte DiVincenzo to gain even more minutes. DiVincenzo has exceeded more than 29 minutes in each of his last five games and he has reached a value of 5x at his current price in the last three games in which Antetokounmpo has been sidelined.
Bobby Portis (MIL) $ 5,800 against CHA:
Another member of the Milwaukee Bucks who could benefit from the exclusion of Antetokounmpo again is Bobby Portis. Portis just cut the Dallas Mavericks at 42.8 FD points and he made an even better game on Friday. The Charlotte Hornets have given up 48.97 FD points per game, which bodes well for Portis if Antetokounmpo is indeed excluded.
Onyeka Okongwu (ATL) $ 4,700 vs. CHI:
Clint Capela is questionable for the Atlanta Hawks and given that his illness affects his Achilles, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Atlanta hold him back. In this case, Onyeka Okongwu becomes a viable value option in the middle position. After going with Chris Boucher on Thursday – who exploded for 67.3 FD points against the Chicago Bulls – why would we stop using crosses against Chicago?
Deni Avdija (WAS) $ 4,400 at GSW:
The Washington Wizards finally figured out that it was worth giving Deni Avdija more minutes in his rookie season. The rookie forward has logged more than 29 minutes in his last six games and that shouldn’t change on Friday. He’s also reached a 5x value in four of his last six outings and he’s only returned the ball twice in his previous 11 games. If you’re looking to find inexpensive parts for the fast-paced Warriors / Wizards showdown, look no further than Avdija.
Goga Bitadze (IND) $ 4,900 at ENT:
The Indiana Pacers currently have injuries to several starters, including Malcolm Brogdon and Myles Turner. With Turner already ruled out for the Pacers, Goga Bitadze is expected to return to central Indiana on Friday. Bitadze just recorded 31.1 FD points Wednesday against the Minnesota Timberwolves in 25 minutes. Barring an unforeseen range change, Bitadze could see more than 25 minutes again, putting it in a prime position to significantly exceed its value at $ 4,900.
Patrick Williams (CHI) $ 4,500 at ATL:
As I mentioned yesterday, Patrick Williams has shown a lot of potential on the defensive end for the Chicago Bulls. Due to his ability to produce flights and blocks, he is a valuable player to use on FanDuel. Williams hit a 5x value for the fifth time in his last seven games on Thursday night and FanDuel left his price unchanged on Friday, making it an attractive salary-saving option for the small forward against the Hawks. Atlanta.
Cole Anthony (ENT) $ 4,700 against IND:
Everyone was curious to see how the Orlando Magic would deploy Cole Anthony in his first action in nearly two months on Wednesday. Despite his long layoff, Anthony was playing 25 minutes and was a key member of the team off the bench. The freshman point guard would score 23.7 FD points and with Orlando looking to play his young players more, Anthony is expected to continue to see more runs on Friday against an Indiana who is playing at the seventh fastest pace in the NBA.
Jeremy Lamb (IND) $ 4,200 at ENT:
Across the field, as mentioned earlier, the Pacers face an assortment of injuries. If Brogdon is sidelined for another game on Friday, Jeremy Lamb could be prepared for a productive performance against the Magic. Orlando are the second-worst team to shoot guards this season and Lamb has racked up 11 interceptions and combined blocks in their last two performances.
Davis Bertans (WAS) $ 3,900 at GSW:
There will be a multitude of gunshots launched in the clash between warriors and wizards. Why not grab a flyer on a member of the Wizards who can pack points from outside the arc? Davis Bertans has managed 27 three-pointers in the last three games, which has averaged 23.9 FD points during that span. Few guys under $ 4000 bring the edge Bertans does on Friday night.
Isaiah Thomas (NOP) $ 3,900 against PHI:
It’s great to see Isaiah Thomas back in the NBA as the New Orleans Pelicans gave him a shot amid their injuries recently. The veteran point guard has scored in double digits in his first two games with the Pelicans and Lonzo Ball is questionable to dress on Friday. If Ball is kept out of Friday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers, Thomas becomes a decent value game at the point guard, especially if Kira Lewis is also excluded.
