APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) – An Apple Valley mother asks the community to pray and help her find her daughter and boyfriend who have been missing for two days now.
VVNG member Michelle Edwards posted and said that Sophia Edwards and Ethan Manzano were last seen leaving the Newcomb ranch at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 1.
The couple were last seen driving along Highway 2 in a silver 2007 Ascender Azusu. According to Michelle, they were returning home to Apple Valley. “The sheriffs say they got a ping from a cell phone tower in Wrightwood… so we know they made it out of the mountain.”
Michelle said Ethan didn’t show up for work Thursday night and Sophia didn’t show up for work on Friday morning. “We were supposed to help them load up and move to Colorado today. We haven’t heard from them.
Sophie edwards is 19 years old, has red hair, green eyes and is 5’3 “, 95 lbs. She was last seen wearing a Newcombs Ranch t-shirt with Docs. Ethan Manzano is 20 years old, has brown hair, brown eyes, 5’3 “, 120 lbs. he was last seen wearing a Newcombs Ranch t-shirt, blue jeans and low-cut converse.
“To everyone there… Thank you very much for all your help and prayers. It is incredibly difficult. We think it might not be real. Thank you all, as well as the police and rescue teams involved. They were just kind and worked hard to do what they could, ”Michelle said in her post.
