Excited Katy Perry fans believe the singer is teasing new music as she mysteriously updates her social media profile icons, Spotify page and website.
The multiple Grammy Award nominee, 39, made some brand changes on Wednesday, with netizens speculating it means the California Girls singer is entering a new era.
Her profile picture on social media platforms has been updated with her initials “KP” in a sleek silver font, on a bright red background.
Meanwhile, its X (formerly Twitter) and Spotify headers are the same color, with what look like bubbles floating across the screen.
When you listen to any of his older music on the streaming site, the new logo starts spinning in the background.
Katy’s website also features the singer’s new branding, with the ability for fans to sign up to receive email updates and offers.
Fans of the popstar, known as KatyCats, were quick to notice the change and flooded social media with hopes that it could mean new music is on the agenda.
Pop culture news X account Pop Crave wrote, “Katy Perry teases new era with new profile picture of her logo,” with other delighted fans gushing:

The American Idol judge is rumored to be making a musical return, which Deino calls “the biggest musical comeback since Mariah Carey with The Emancipation of Mimi.”
The rumored big comeback comes after his last two albums failed to reach the heights of his peak, and fans are now ready for his revival.
In April, fans of the Teenage Dream singer were hard at work on X, with a campaign in support of the star accompanied by the hashtag #JUSTICEFORKATYPERRY.
As a result, his fans propelled his fifth studio album Witness to the top of several countries’ iTunes charts, almost seven years after its release – with some fans claiming the record’s release was sabotaged in 2017.
The album topped the charts in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Turkey, Vietnam, Peru, Guatemala, Philippines, Jordan and other countries.
To date, Katy has released six studio albums, the most recent being Smile in 2020.
In December 2023, it was reported that the pop superstar would put the finishing touches on her “most personal album of all time” after Smile and perform it to British audiences in late 2024.
After finishing her two-year residency at Last Vegas in November, she is ready to return to the world stage, according to The Sun.
A source revealed: “Katy has been working on her most personal album for the better part of the last two years.”

Before saying of the tour: “The demand is there because she’s so successful, so taking her show on the road is bound to be a big draw.
“We hope she will be able to leave towards the end of 2024, but that is still being worked out.”
She last toured the UK in 2018, but took to the stage for the king’s coronation at Windsor Castle last year.
The new branding also comes just after Katy’s final episode as a judge on American Idol on Monday, after seven seasons on the panel with Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
The ABC show concluded with a jam-packed three-hour episode, which featured Will Moseley, Jack Blocker and Abi singing for survival in a bid to be crowned season 22 champion. Abi, 21, from Indio , in California, ultimately won the $250,000. a cash prize and a recording contract.
Katy was visibly emotional throughout the evening as she delivered her final words and a powerful performance.
For her duet of her song “What Makes a Woman” with Blocker, Perry towered over the audience in a 20-foot-tall dress that featured the faces of all the top 24 contestants who appeared on the show during her tenure.
The dress ultimately featured a total of 168 faces and was so elaborate that it took a crew of seven to transport it to the set.
